The Icon Class vacation sets the bar with more dining, new entertainment, and family fun — debuting July 2026

Royal Caribbean is ready to redefine family cruising once again with the upcoming Legend of the Seas, the next Icon Class ship setting sail in July 2026. Designed to deliver the family time of a lifetime, Legend promises more adventure, more dining, and more ways to play than ever before.

A Legendary Lineup of Neighborhoods and Experiences

Across its eight neighborhoods, Legend of the Seas will combine the best of the Icon Class innovations with a new wave of concepts and experiences. From day to night, vacationers can explore the ship’s dynamic mix of dining, entertainment, and thrills — all created to satisfy travelers of every age and style.

At the heart of the experience are two all-new dining adventures:

  • Royal Railway – Legend Station, a five-course, immersive journey along the ancient Silk Routes that blends food, storytelling, and technology.
  • Hollywoodland Supper Club, a glamorous multi-course dining show inspired by Hollywood’s golden age, where jazz, gourmet bites, and signature cocktails transport guests through the cinematic decades from 1910 to the 1950s.

Add to that the AquaDome Market, a reimagined global food hall with five international stands and a juice & smoothie bar, plus beloved favorites such as Chops Grille, Izumi, Hooked Seafood, and family-friendly venues like Surfside Eatery and Basecamp. With 28 dining venues, Legend officially offers the most dining options at sea.

Entertainment That Dazzles

Nightlife takes center stage aboard Legend with Broadway-quality shows, high-tech spectacles, and more than 20 bars and lounges.
The highlight is the at-sea debut of Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, bringing Willy Wonka’s world of imagination to life in a full-scale musical production.

Guests can also expect jaw-dropping performances in the AquaDome’s AquaTheater, featuring divers, aerialists, and even robots, while Absolute Zero, the largest ice arena at sea, hosts cutting-edge skating shows. From Lou’s Jazz Lounge to Dueling Pianos and the elegant 1400 Lobby Bar, every night promises a new atmosphere and soundtrack.

Adventure and Relaxation for All Ages

Thrill-seekers will find their paradise with the Category 6 waterpark—the largest at sea—alongside Crown’s Edge, a skywalk-meets-zipline 154 feet above the ocean, and a fresh spin on mini golf at Lost Dunes.

For relaxation, there are seven pools—including The Hideaway infinity pool, Swim & Tonic swim-up bar, and Royal Bay, the largest pool at sea—plus 10 whirlpools and private cabanas.

Families will love the redesigned Surfside neighborhood, featuring a brand-new carousel concept, and the reimagined Playscape for younger cruisers.

Sailing Legendary Destinations

Starting summer 2026, Legend of the Seas will sail 7-night Western Mediterranean itineraries from Barcelona and Rome (Civitavecchia), visiting hotspots like Marseille, Naples, and Palma de Mallorca.

In November 2026, the ship will reposition to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to offer 6- and 8-night Caribbean voyages, including visits to Aruba, Curacao, and Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day at CocoCay — the award-winning private island known for its turquoise waters and thrilling waterpark.

Sustainable Power Meets Modern Innovation

Legend of the Seas will be Royal Caribbean’s fourth LNG-powered ship, featuring advanced environmental systems such as waste heat recovery and shore power connectivity, supporting the company’s journey toward a net-zero cruise ship by 2035.

Bookings for Legend of the Seas are now open on Royal Caribbean’s official website, giving travelers the chance to be among the first to experience what promises to be Royal Caribbean’s most legendary vacation yet.
