NCL’s private Bahamian island will welcome more guests than ever, with Great Tides Waterpark at the center of the experience.

And this is not a small splash area.

The waterpark will feature 19 waterslides, including the industry’s first dueling Master Blaster slides, alongside family attractions, children’s experiences and the adults-only Vibe Shore Club.

2. Norwegian Aura brings a new generation to the Caribbean

The Caribbean will also see one of NCL’s newest ships taking center stage.

Norwegian Aura will operate seven-day Eastern Caribbean roundtrip cruises from Miami, visiting Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, Tortola and Great Stirrup Cay.

The ship is designed with multigenerational travel in mind and will introduce Ocean Heights, NCL’s first open-air activities complex, together with dedicated spaces for children and teenagers.

Norwegian Jewel will make her debut in Morocco during a 12-day Canary Islands roundtrip from Barcelona, calling at Casablanca and Agadir.

The itinerary also includes Arrecife in Lanzarote and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, while additional voyages will explore Spain, France and Portugal.

Jewel will also operate Baltic itineraries visiting destinations including Tallinn, Riga and Klaipeda.

4. Chase the Midnight Sun aboard Norwegian Getaway

Overnight stays in Istanbul and late departures from destinations including Santorini, Mykonos and Livorno.

7. Alaska gets prime weekend departures

Between April and October 2028, Norwegian Encore, Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Joy will offer seven-day roundtrip cruises from Seattle, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday departures.

Every sailing will feature glacier viewing, while Norwegian Joy will also offer longer nine- to 11-day itineraries.

Meanwhile, Norwegian Jade will return with seven-day voyages between Vancouver and Whittier, featuring scenic cruising through either Glacier Bay or Hubbard Glacier.

For travelers wanting more than the classic cruise-only experience, NCL will also offer Cruisetours combining the cruise with inland Alaska experiences such as Denali National Park and the Alaska Railroad.

8. Bermuda gets a new homeport

NCL will continue sailing to Bermuda from the U.S. East Coast, but Summer 2028 brings an interesting change.

Norwegian Gem will make her regional debut in Philadelphia in April 2028, offering seven-day Bermuda cruises with overnight stays at Royal Naval Dockyard.

Norwegian Spirit will operate 11- to 13-day voyages across the South Pacific between April and October 2028.

The ship will homeport across Sydney, Lautoka, Papeete and Honolulu, connecting destinations including Fiji, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Samoa, the Cook Islands, French Polynesia and Hawaii.

Among the destinations featured are Bora Bora, Moorea, Raiatea, Rarotonga and Aitutaki.
